The machine
Sized for residential access
This work is done with our Kubota U55-5 compact excavator: 6 ft 5 in wide on rubber tracks, 11 ft 11 in dig depth and 19 ft 7 in of reach. It fits most driveways and side yards a bigger machine can’t, and it’s easier on the ground getting there.

It gets piled, chipped or hauled depending on what it is, how much there is and what the county allows at that time of year. We’ll walk you through the options and what each one costs before we start pulling anything.
Can you clear around a house without wrecking the yard?
Usually. It comes down to machine size and where we can travel. Send a photo of the approach and we’ll tell you what will fit and what it will disturb.
Do you clear defensible space around buildings?
Yes. Opening up brush and ladder fuels around structures is regular work in this country. What to leave and how far out is your call, and we’ll talk it through with you on site.
